A note from Meredith:
You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to start—but you don’t have to figure it out alone. Many of my clients come to therapy struggling with shame, self-doubt, or a lingering sense that they don’t quite measure up. The weight of daily stressors and past experiences can lead to coping mechanisms that provide short-term relief but ultimately pull you further from the life you want to live.
You might find yourself caught in people-pleasing, perfectionism, or harsh self-criticism. Maybe you’re stuck in cycles of rumination, replaying past mistakes, or worrying about the future. Or perhaps you cope by overworking, avoiding, or distracting yourself in ways that numb the discomfort but don’t bring lasting relief. You may feel like you should be able to handle things better and wonder why life seems easier for everyone else.
Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to navigate it on your own. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where no topic is off-limits—a space where you can bring your whole self. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, develop self-compassion, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
Mindfulness-Based Techniques
I also incorporate psychodynamic, somatic, and parts-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and inner-child work to support deeper healing and self-awareness.
My Approach
I provide individual therapy for adults and children navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, life transitions, relationships, and trauma.
I believe therapy should be flexible and tailored to you. Whether you want to take a deep dive into how your past experiences and relationships have shaped your beliefs and patterns, or focus on developing practical tools for reducing symptoms and navigating challenges in the present, we’ll work together to create an approach that honors your unique needs and strengths.
My approach is integrative, relational, and collaborative, rooted in warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for each client’s lived experience.
